Try saying that three times fast.
After making my Tippecanoe blocks for the QAL last week, I found I hadn't quite got them out of my system - they're one of those blocks that become kind of addicitive. So despite having a few other things that I really should have been doing, I started cutting to make a Tippecanoe cushion (pillow for those of you on the wrong side of the world ;o) ).
It will be a 20" cushion cover - so I'm making sixteen 5" blocks. I am so, so enjoying working with Chicopee (I've been holding myself back from starting something with it - so hopefully this little project will satisfy me until I've finished a few of my WIPs...) - and I'm pairing it with natural Essex linen.
Oh and some non-quilty-but-still-of-interest-to-some-of-you (I think) happy mail - some Heather Ross mix and match note paper and envelopes. I may or may not have got a few of these ;o)
Can't wait to see your cushion!
Love the notepaper too!
oooh, that's going to be gorgeous!!!!!
What Charlotte said ;-)
For some reason the names of these blocks always makes me laugh... Still, they look good!
Loving the HR goodness too :o)
That's going to be an amazing pillow/cushion (here in Canada, we use both words interchangeably!). LOVE LOVE LOVE your fabric.
I'm so excited to see your cushion! I love that block and Chicopee is gorgeous. And how fun are those envelopes? So cute!
woohoo, cant wait to see how this comes out, love the colors, love the block!
I can see why you like those tippecanoe blocks, and the chickopee fabrics are perfect!
