The pattern is the Colour Block quilt, designed by Tula Pink for her Saltwater collection. It's a really nice pattern to use larger scale prints, and it is one of those really clever and simple patterns to make. I chose kona solids for the background, in colours that would blend well with the prints. This quilt top has been sitting in my to-finish pile for a few years, wanting to be finished. The size (84" x 96") was what made me hesitate to quilt it - so when I was given a frame earlier this year I decided this would be the first quilt to go on the frame.
And the last as it happens, for a few reasons. When I set my machine up on the frame, I realised I only had about 4" of quilting space at any time, which meant my options for quilting were fairly limited. I decided to go for dense organic straight lines, and I adore the texture. The other negative while I was using the frame was the number of thread breakages I had while quilting. I'm pretty sure I was just expecting too much of my machine on the frame, and expecting it to stitch faster than it's capable of. The other thing that might have played a role is the fact that I used a high thread count flat sheet for the backing fabric. Whatever the reason, I haven't used the frame since!
I used a whole bunch of Aurifil 50wt threads to quilt it - many of them are variegated from Tula Pink's first collection for Aurifil. I love how the thread blends in some areas, but contrasts a lot in others (especially on the darker fabrics.) I'm yet to wash this one, but I'm a bit excited to see how it crinkles once it's washed.
If you'd like a chance to win this bundle, please just leave me a comment and let me know what you'd make with it (or if you'd just stash it like I would!!) That's it, no hoops! The giveaway is open to everyone, and comments will close next Wednesday 14th October at 8pm AEST.
Please make sure you are NOT A NO REPLY BLOGGER - I have had lots and lots of no reply comments lately, so if I haven't replied to you it means I can't. If you're a no-reply blogger I have no way of contacting you and you will not be eligible to win this bundle :o)
I hope you're all having a wonderful week!
xx Jess
Its just beautiful and a great way to display Tula's Eden fabrics. If I was to win I would want to make a 'me' quilt though not sure of design and would have to wait till I complete the 'gift' quilts. I have never done a 'me' quilt in the 10 years I have been quilting.
ReplyDeleteVery Prettt Quilt! I love the fabrics as well :)

ReplyDeleteVery Prettt Quilt! I love the fabrics as well, I would be putting them in my stash though because I have 5 custom quilts on the go and am working on getting 3 more!
ReplyDeleteI think, like you I would stash it and enjoy its loveliness...but eventually it would end up as part of a quilt, mini quilt or pillow. :)
ReplyDeleteI have been in love with this quilt since you started it!! Congrats on a beautiful finish. I wish I could see this one in person! Also, I'd give it away at the next CJMQG meeting as a door prize from the FQS. :)
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is gorgeous. I love the colors in it and the fabrics are showcased so nicely.
ReplyDeleteI'd use those fabrics for a new bed runner quilt.
Truth be told, it'd probably hang out with my Tula stash for a little bit. But some day, I have a dream of creating an epic quilt with those precious hoarded fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI would make a quilt. Plus signs or flying geese.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt looks amazing Jess! I would love to use these Eden fabrics in a quilt also:)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a finish!! They sure feel good. That Eden colourway is my absolute favorite shades, I would have to make something special just for me out of it I think.
ReplyDeleteOh, I think I would have to hold onto it for a while and gaze at it, then wait for inspiration to strike! Thanks for the opportunity!
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt! If I was lucky enough to win I'd want to keep it bundled for awhile so I could just stare and touch it. I love Tula's fabrics.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors! What to do look at it , touch it & dream of a pretty quilt made with it!
ReplyDeletepatsystitch@gvtc.com
I'd stash it til I find the perfect pattern!
ReplyDeleteYour Colour Block quilt is so gorgeous! I would add these FQs to my other Tula stash and pick a quilt design.
ReplyDeleteI'd probably stash it.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'd add it to my Tula stash, but bits and pieces would work their way in to my quilts the way they usually do.
ReplyDeleteOh! they are gorgeous. I would start by making a beautiful mini quilt to hang on the wall. Then I might make another bag, and then maybe even a sew together bag. These are my favourite colours so I'd squeeze as many projects out of this bundle as possible. Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteSome would go into the pull for my next quilt, planning on citron and navy and coral and teal...mmm.
ReplyDeleteSome would go into the pull for my next quilt, planning on citron and navy and coral and teal...mmm.
ReplyDeleteSome would go into the pull for my next quilt, planning on citron and navy and coral and teal...mmm.
ReplyDeleteThis is my daughter's color combo - so I would gift the bundle to her (she wants to make a new duvet for the master bedroom)
ReplyDeleteOh my, a quilt of flying geese would look awesome!
ReplyDeleteOh my, a quilt of flying geese would look awesome!
ReplyDeleteAfter admiring them for a period of time, I would make pillows for my sister.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the beautiful finish, Jess! I would probably try design something to show off the prints in the bundle... but I also might just pair with some Kona solids and play. Improv has been speaking to me a lot lately.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous quilt!!!! Big Tula fan and I would stash it for now. I'm sure eventually it would be a quilt or a big tote bag.
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous and my fave color!!! I may just caress them (if I get the chance)!!!!! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful quilt! Love the flow of all the Tula fabrics! When I win this (such an optimist!) I will add this to my lovely Tula Pink very special collection!
ReplyDeleteI think I would stare at it a while ....then fold it up nice and wait for the perfect project:)
ReplyDeleteThis colour way is right up my alley. I think that this bundle would be stashed, pulled out and patted every so often until I have enough special aqua fabrics to make a queen sized quilt for my bedroom.
ReplyDeleteI love the inspiration I get from your quilts! Definitely, I would stash this sweet bundle!!! But, only for a little while! Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI've got 5 projects of my own going right now, plus three between two of my children. All in various stages of completeness of course.
ReplyDeleteI've been drooling over this fabric line but no pattern has jumped out at me yet so it would probably be stashed for a while (maybe I could finish one of those other projects!)
I would put the bundle on a shelf until I found the perfect pattern for it. Your quilt is awesome!
ReplyDeleteHello your quilt is so pretty !
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing on your blog and the great giveaway!
I would make a new Modern style quilt !
msstitcher1214@gmail
Great looking quilt. I just ordered one of Tula Pink's quilt books so I will soon be tackling one of her quilt projects soon. I love the color palette of this fabric grouping. Anything with aquas, teals, blues will catch my eye. These fabrics would surely end up in a quilt project.
ReplyDeletetushaythreeatyahoodotcom
My favorite colors. I'd make a quilt for me. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI love the quilt and would use the fabrics to make one that is similar. Then the scraps from that........
ReplyDeleteclardina@sbcglobal.net
I'd make a very fancy knitting bag for me!
ReplyDeleteI'm a stash builder too. Eventually, they would find their way into a quilt or table runner. Love your quilt. sjvonfumetti at yahoo dot com
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt and gorgeous fabrics!! I would make a quilt for my daughter!! I know that she would love these colours!!
ReplyDeletebeautiful fabric , i would use it in a quilt
ReplyDeleteMy first thought is to stash it away to wait for the inspiration, of course you would have to take it out and touch it to get that inspiration. The fabric is so fresh looking with the greens so the inspiration would have to be something for spring (Australia) a Quilt for my youngest daughter, (29) as these are her colours and I haven't made her a quilt yet all the grandchildren come first.
ReplyDeletethanks Judy xxx
I would stash it and use little bits of it here and there.
ReplyDeleteI want to make a baby quilt for my brand new granddaughter, Pandora!
ReplyDeleteI've got an EPP project on the go that these would be beautiful in
ReplyDeleteI'm starting several projects for the new gran-baby - our first! so not being sure yet if we have Henry or Henrietta, green & yellows it is for now! thanks for the great offer!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful quilt! And if I had that bundle if definitely be mixing it with some solids and make a quilt. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteFor sure, without a doubt Jessie, I'd use that lovely Fat Quarter collection bfor a new crazy art quilt!! Oh ya, I can see thgis new quilt coming together already.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors, I could have it done by next spring just in time for my e-book publishing debut! I've gone and done it Jessie with my Arts Fartsy Crazy Art and I'm sure you'll be happy all with the continued reciprecol good karma across the waves! Blog tours and fun postcard project for every book tour across the blogosphere.
You know I had such a good time participating with your promotion of Midnight Over the Oasis, thanks for that too Jessie, in case I didn't thank you before.
Happy Canadian Thanksgiving, we'll be roasting over an open fire by the river, such fun, take care!!
Your quiltis so lovely, Jess! Yikes i adore the colors
ReplyDeleteI would love to win this pile of fabric. Oh gosh i would make something for ME, because it is so pretty and i like green lately...
Thank you for this generous offer. I love when you share your finishes❤️
Yummy fabrics. Love those colors. I'd use them to make a quilt for myself.
ReplyDeleteI would admire this bundle for a few days. Put it with my stash and think about what to make. Love how your quilt colours run into each other.
ReplyDeleteOh love those colors too. I would stash it until I finish some WIPs and then I'd make a Tula sampler quilt. I love those
ReplyDeleteA quilt. I would stash it for a bit while I tried to work out what to do with it. Thanks for a great giveaway, Love Tula Pink!
ReplyDeleteLoooove them!!! Would probably Stash them for awhile...then use to make a Special Birthday gift for my Daughter! Thank you for chance to win them!:D
ReplyDeleteThat quilt is A - MAZE - INGGGGGG!!! Simply beautiful. Thanks for the chance on the generous giveaway!
ReplyDeleteOh so pretty!!! I would stash it until I found the perfect quilt pattern for it!!!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what I'd make, but I love your Color Block quilt and I'm adding it to my very long list.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt! I can't wait to see the finishes to all your starts :). Lotus is my favorite color way. I'd be tempted to hoard it in my stash but I'd try hard to cut into it for a quilt for my guest room.
ReplyDeleteLove the colours, a plaid for my daughter's living room.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt! As for the fabric - I'd hoard it for a bit until I find the perfect project for it.
ReplyDeleteI would make a quilt for my new grand daughter, Mabel.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors! Looks like these fabric would make a beautiful throw size quilt.
ReplyDeleteOur niece just bought a condo in an ocean town--this fabric seems just right for a housewarming quilt.
ReplyDeleteThe colors are perfect for a table runner for my son's house.
ReplyDeleteOh your quilt is stunning! Not gonna lie, it'd get stashed ;)
ReplyDeleteThis bundle is scrumptious and I think I would be admiring it for a long time before cutting in to it. Thanks
ReplyDeleteGreat quilt! I think I'd have to let this bundle sit in my stash for awhile until it was ready to tell me what it wants to be. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteSuch a different and fun way of putting the blocks together. I have made 3 Tula Pink quilts, but I have been very traditional :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fabrics and I would´t mind putting them together with the ones I already have.
Regards
what an awesome quilt! as far as the eden fabric, I think I would just carry it around with me and pet it for a while before ever cutting it up!
ReplyDeleteI would make a quilt with them or use them to make a bag. Thanks so much for a chance to win!! Your quilts are spectacular!! I love them.
ReplyDelete-Karrie
Ksmith8@emich.edu
Your quilt is so amazing Jess. These colours are not like anything I have in my stash. I would love to make some patchwork curtains with them I think as something different!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is gorgeous! So different! I'd have to stash the "Eden" for a bit until I find a wonderful pattern that makes the most of these amazing fabrics!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous quilt. I would use the fabric if I won to make another sweet baby quilt for my new grandson Luke. Thanks for the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteIt very pretty fabric. I'd have to think long and hard about what I'd make. Thanks for the give away!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colours. thanks for sharing. I will have to pet it for a while until inspiration hits..
ReplyDeleteI'd give away a couple of the prints to friends I think, but stash the rest!
ReplyDeleteLove these colors....so would stash it for awhile :)
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt Jess! I would drool over the bundle for a while & then give some to a friend & keep drooling over the rest!
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt--reminds me of window panes--just great. Fabric--well, into the stash" for now to be petted, mulled over, etc...thanks for the chance, hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteI'd stash it and use it little by little probably to make stuff toys. Tula's fabric gives a nice zing to simple dolls. I recently made a simple mermaid who had the great Saltwater octopi on her tail.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors, and I'd probably stash it to use for a quilt with unplanned colors. I dislike using a collection to make a quilt - too much matchy-matchy. I know how frustrating the no-reply thing is! My recent blog giveaway turned up 20 percent of commenters who were ineligible. Thanks for the chance to win this fabric bundle!
ReplyDeleteI would probably stash it for a bit...drool over it...then decide what to do with it :)
ReplyDeletecjpike (at) Indiana (dot) edu
Wonderful bundle! I would probably stash it for a while until it speaks to me and it tells me exactly in which project they want to live! :) thanks for the chance!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful bundle and I think I will stash it a while until I find a project that is just perfect.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great giveaway.
I could use some of this type of greens. I've used up a lot of the greens in my fabric stash lately.
ReplyDeleteSince you have inspired me, I would probably use it in my Tula Punk Jaybirds Gravity Quilt! Love the quilt you blogged about.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is so beautiful! I wish I could see it in person and admire the variegated threads you mention -- I'm sure I'd love it even more. May you enjoy this quilt for many years to come.
ReplyDeleteThat would make a perfect lap quilt for my family room! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'd use it in my Milleflori quilt. Such pretty fabric!
ReplyDeleteWow I just love those colours. I would stash it for a little while. Just admire and love it in a cute little pile. But not for long....it would become a quilt for me as the colours are just perfect! Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous fabric! I don't know if I could cut it up. I think I might just leave it on my sewing desk and pet it. Thank you for the chance.
ReplyDeleteI would stash it of course! Tula's prints always end up being the perfect thing for whatever scrappy patchwork I've got going on :)
ReplyDeleteOh, your quilt turned out fantastic! Do you know if that pattern is also sized for smaller quilts? I'd love to do a lap/throw size in that cool block.
ReplyDeleteHm, I think I would stash the fabric for now, until just the right pattern came along. I'm currently working on a bunch of kids' quilts and I think this lovely Tula would be best for more adult purposes :-)
Your quikt is awesome! I'd use it to finish the tp quilt from her book I started 2 years ago!(😆)
ReplyDeleteLinynp2 at yahoo (dot) com
green is usually an UN favorite of mine but, that is a very appealing colof
ReplyDeleteI would try to make a quilt. my best friends favorite color is green and her 60th is about 15 months away
so maybe a quilt for her
Your quilt is lovely. So sorry you had problems with your quilt frame. I've never tried one. The Tula Pink fabric is lovely--I would make a simply-designed quilt that would show off the fabric. Thanks to you and Fat Quarter shop for this generous giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI've been admiring your "Lattice quilt" on FB already! It's absolutely gorgeous! And what a lovely bundle of fabrics. I think I would use it for my planned "Ballet avec Kaffe" quilt. Thanks for a great give away.
ReplyDeleteI'd probably stash this for now given the large amount of WIP that i have!
ReplyDeleteThese fabrics would make some beautiful pillows for Christmas gifts.
ReplyDeleteI would probably stash it until I found the right pattern for it. It might be sooner than you think, as I am using up a lot of my stash by knocking out my bucket list. I just have to stay focused!
ReplyDeleteLove the change in color for Tula... I admit I would look at it and pet it for awhile before I found the right thing to make with it.
ReplyDeleteLovely finish. Thanks for the chance to win! If I win, I shall make the Welded pattern w/it. =)
ReplyDeleteYour color choices and placement are spectacular! I'm still fairly new to quilting so I'd probably add this bundle to my very small stash, at least until inspiration hits. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI'd love ot make another sew together bag with this line
ReplyDeleteOoh, thanks for the giveaway! I would totally stash that baby...
ReplyDeleteCurious to hear more about the frame and your issues with it - I think your quilting is beautiful but I think you're an amazing FMQer so it's kind of disappointing to hear you can't do much with the frame.
The fabric bundle is beautiful! I would keep, stash, hoard this fabric until I found the perfect thing to make with it. Thanks!
ReplyDeletePlease click on the delaineelliott above for my email link.
Gorgeous fabrics, and a fab quilt, I think that this fabric would be perfect in this block!
ReplyDeleteOh man I would love to make your quilt. That is so beautiful and unexpected!
ReplyDeleteI would add it to my stash until a quilt called for that fabric. 24Tangent@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI've been on a bit of a fabric purchasing diet, and I miss my Tula prints so much. I would love to have this. No idea what I'd do with it, but until said diet, I made at least two Tula quilts a year, and they're all some of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteJess your quilt is amazing! I would drool over the fabric & then give some to a friend & then drool over what's left!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I hope you post pics of the crinkle too. I love these colours and they are a bit of a change for Tula Pink. I have a million projects on my to do list, but likely I'd stash these babys.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt! I would stash the fabric for now but I'm planning to start the 100 block Tula quilt next year!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful quilt! I'll admit I'd find it hard to cut into this gorgeous fabric if I won, but I think it would make a a perfect patchwork changing bag for my new arrival so that would spur me on! x
ReplyDeleteWonderful quilt - well done! Love the shades in Tula's new fabric, I have just made Amy Butlers weekender in similar colours and am now dying to make a quilt. I think aqua is my new favourite colour.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt. I would probably stash the bundle until I finished the quilt I am halfway done on and then start thinking about a pattern for it.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to make a wall hanging for my entry.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt? I would probably stash these fabrics until Spring arrives. Love the color!
ReplyDeleteProbably stash for a bit and think about it. QUILT!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt! I would use the fabrics in your giveaway in a quilt.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
Your quilt is gorgeous. I would eventually make a quilt with this lovely fabric but I would keep it for a while first.
ReplyDeletePauline

I would love to make a quilt with those fabrics!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to keep it all but in reality I would make a quilt for a friend going through a really rough time right now.
ReplyDeleteTruthfully, I would stash the fabric if I won it. There you go, my guilty secret.....I stash all new fabric til it "cures" sufficiently to be cut and used. Its a bit like making bacon. I put it in a sealed container, in a cool dry place, then take it out to check and rotate it regularly. Eventually I cut into it, but only after a reasonable period of time, 3-12 months. This may also have something to do with the number of WIP's I have inprogress. Thanks for the giveaway. Tarnia.hodges at gmail.com
ReplyDeleteAt this particular point in time I would probably have to stash the fabric if I won. We are in the process of moving and I already have four quilts in varying stages that need to be finished. I don't do well with so many projects in progress. So they need to be completed. I love your quilt! It's gorgeous. Next time you use your machine on the frame try Superior So Fine thread #50. Please don't be one of those quilter's who swear they have to use only cotton thread on their cotton fabric. So Fine is a cotton thread with a polyester core made for quilting. It is a wonderful thread and will not harm your quilt in any way. And since it has a polyester core it will not break every 20 seconds. Trust me....you can't go wrong with it. If you aren't familiar with Superior threads please do go to their website and become familiar with their items. The issue with the high thread count sheet you used for backing was probably the wrong needle as much as the cotton thread. The right needle for the fabric as well as for the thread size. They need to be in sync. Hope that helps.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic giveaway! I started over a year ago to buy older Tula Pink when I could afford it, and the new designs, too, of course! I have one sea themed quilt that I want to make for my daughter and then do a totally Tula quilt for myself. I love yours. It is amazing! I haven't thought of using different solids in a background before. I need to get more of Tula's books. I just have the blocks book right now. Anyway, I think your quilt is fabulous and I hope Ms Random will choose me for your giveaway because Tula Pink is a genius!
ReplyDeleteBeth. Magistra13 (at) yahoo [dot] com
I would stash it ;)
ReplyDeleteI am a new Tula Pink fan and it's because of this Eden line that I have decided to plunge in. Wow, wow, wow. Thanks for a chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI'm a tula pink junkie so I would use it to go in her 100 modern blocks quilt....I have this dream of making that quilt with only tula pink fabrics and trying not to repeat too many...
ReplyDeleteI'm a tula pink junkie so I would use it to go in her 100 modern blocks quilt....I have this dream of making that quilt with only tula pink fabrics and trying not to repeat too many...
ReplyDeleteI would combine it with my existing Tula Pink stash and make a quilt...someday... :)
ReplyDeleteI'd probably just stash it and pet it every now and then! Your quilt is gorgeous and I've enjoyed seeing it on instagram. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI promised myself that I wouldn't start anything new until my WIPs were under control...but I'd probably be okay with breaking that promise if I had some Tula to work with :)
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt - simple yet so effective.
Hi just found your lovely blog and now following! Brilliant print and I'm new to Tula. Beautiful work...I would make a few small projects such as manniquin pin cushions and like so many crafty people stash it away for it's too pretty to use it all at once. Gorgeous print! Ruby x
ReplyDeleteI would make a quilt. Nothing like sleeping under a quilt made with Tula Pink!
ReplyDeleteThis fabric is gorgeous. I would definitely keep it to pet for a while but then a quilt. I love the shades of blue in this bundle
ReplyDeleteI love Tula Pink I would make my first Dresden quilt out of it for myself for a change, I've never made anything like this for myself whether it be sewing or crocheting I always gave it away to family or friends that fell in love with what ever I made and lately I've blade quilts for two great granddaughters, a daughter and my husband and currently making one for my son and his husband, so I would definitely make one for me to cuddle with when watching tv and hand piecing.
ReplyDeleteThis is such an effective quilt - gorgeous!!!! I love the colours - Tula is amazing!
ReplyDeleteWow. What a great quilt. On my blog feed I sort of looked at it and thought it's not really my style and the color combination was unusual, but looking at the blog pictures. It's wonderful. It somehow reminds me of walking through a park and looking at sky scrapers and gives me the feel that each color shift is doing it again on another day or at another time. I think I'd have to stash the bundle for now. You set the bar very high for choosing just the right project and I'd want to wait for inspiration to strike that just felt right for the fabric rather than try to find a pattern for it.
ReplyDeleteOh man that quilt is gorgeous! if I won the fabric I would want to make a quilt with it... But it wouldn't be half as nice as yours, so I'd probably delay it for quite awhile!
ReplyDeleteLove those aqua/green/blue colors! I would use these to make a quilt for charity.
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Peggy
peggy_verdongibbs@att.net
I think if I own this, it would be stashed to be begin with. Gotta drool over new fabrics for a while.
ReplyDeleteI'm headed to a workshop to learn sewing curves with my local MQG in November. This bundle would be an excellent choice for my first curves quilt! Love your Tula quilt!
ReplyDeleteIt might just get my sewing machine out for a non-kid project... That would be quite a thing!
ReplyDeleteWell it would start out on the shelf with the rest of my Tula collection to be admired by all visitors but I would love to make a quilt for my own bed with this collection - gorgeous colours!!
ReplyDeleteI love the new colours - I think they would have to be put into a quilt. Your quilt is very beautiful😀
ReplyDeleteI've just bought Tula for the first time and loving it for fussy cut hexagons. That's what I would do with a new bundle
ReplyDeleteI've just bought Tula for the first time and loving it for fussy cut hexagons. That's what I would do with a new bundle
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous quilt!
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous quilt!
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous quilt!
ReplyDeleteI have some Eden now and with this I would start a quilt. Beautiful quilt you made, love it.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt! I would probably make something simple, featuring the prints in bigger blocks with solids, so the Eden is the star. I would make it right away, I've learned to use fabrics right away while I still love them!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd use it for an overnight bag as.. well.. the other two Ive made are also Tula because her stuff just begs to be traveled with!
ReplyDeleteCool quilt and congrats on a finish, which is always awesome!
ReplyDeleteI have several patterns I've designed that I haven't had time to make--I'd probably use this bundle with some stuff from my stash to make up one of those.
This is lovely! I love your blog - practical modern quilting. I am always excited to find other young quilters in Australia.
ReplyDeleteI'm all into quilt as you go bags after taking a class on craftsy so would probably use the fabric for that!
I have to admit, I'm a bit of a stasher. I very rarely buy specifically for a project...unless it's to fill a gap ;)
ReplyDeleteThey would be stashed away for just the right project to come along. Thanks Jess, beautiful work as always!
ReplyDeleteTania
They would be stashed away for just the right project to come along. Thanks Jess, beautiful work as always!
ReplyDeleteTania
What a coincidence - I was just eyeing that bundle this afternoon. The fabric would go into the stash for now, since I have a project and a half ahead of it. Ultimately, it would turn into a quilt for my youngest daughter (pattern tbd).
ReplyDeleteI would probably just stash it for future use at this point!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt. Beautiful fabric. I would make a plus quilt. Regards Julie julie.mckay@xtra.co.nz
ReplyDeleteWow I love this quilt you made! Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDelete
