Quarter two round up

Despite being veeery quiet on my blog over the last month or so, I did actually get some finishes checked off my Q2 list early in the quarter. I originally had six projects on my list for this quarter, and I managed to get three done as well as a lot of non-FAL projects - so I'm pretty happy.

I finished up Super Mario in time for my son's 6th birthday back in April. He still sleeps under it each night :o)

I also finished up my Retro Flowers quilt - probably my favorite finish to date. I still won't let the children use it ;o)

And I finished my Amy Butler Messenger Bag as well - I totally love this bag, it gets used on a daily basis. It's huge and really comfy to carry. I would definitely recommend this pattern.

My other three didn't get a look in this quarter - but they'll most likely appear on my Q3 or Q4 lists, so they still might get finished this year :o)

xx Jess

  4. That quilt is amazing, all those perfect curves! And the bag is wonderful, I am such a fan of bags, like some people are with shoes, and that is definitely a good one. Well done you!
