WIP Wednesday

Progress is being made on my two currently active WIPs (little steps, but getting there). My Chicopee fabrics have been transformed into this pile of 3" squares. Hopefully not too much longer until they are sewn together :o)

And Groove is slowly but surely getting closer to finished. I realise I've been beating you around the head with this one - so this will be the last you'll see of it before the final reveal :o) I'm hoping to soldier on and get this done by the end of the week - I'm about 3/4 done. I'll actually be a bit sad to finish this - I'm really loving quilting it, despite the length of time it's taken.

As always, as I'm getting close to the end of a project, my mind is buzzing toward what's next. I really want to knock over a few long term WIPs (possibly Stained, maybe Mendocino) but I have sooooo many other quilts in my head... Too much fabric, too little time.

Linking up to WIP Wednesday at Freshly Pieced - and looking foward to seeing what everyone has been up to!

xx Jess

  10. The quilting on your groove quilt is beautiful - I think it really enhances the design. Your chicopee stacks look stunning as well. I have the same problem with too many ideas, not enough time.

  13. I'm still a little fearful of curved piecing. I'll get there, but yours is beautiful to aspire to.

  23. Do I see a little bit of natural linen making the Chicopee 'pop'? Your Free Motion labour is looking mighty good on the 'groove' so make sure you give us lots of close ups when you finish up.
