Sunny, warm weekend meant beach trips and endless playing in our garden.
This is one of our 'local' beaches (about 20 minutes drive from our house).
We have some work to do with Miss 2. This is how she sat on the sand - feet lifted up, little finger cocked - so she wouldn't have to get her feet dirty. After two boys I am NOT used to a little princess who doesn't like getting dirty ;o)

I love that photo of your little girl! It took several years for Miss C. to warm up to the idea of getting dirty. Now, at 5, she loves digging in the dirt as much as her little brother. :)
I grew up on the north coast of California. Have been away for almost 40 years but am soooo ready to go back to stay. I love the ocean and when i was young spent many days at the beach with my grandpa. Your children will remember those trips to ocean for the rest of their lives.

That's too cute. My sister was the same way when we were kids! She hated getting dirty. Not me, though. I was always a mess!
