The block is called Heavy Cross (after the Gossip song) and was designed by Marie-Claude Picon-Iperti - the tutorial can be found here. I'm kind of scared where this BOM is heading now - and hoping there can't possibly be anything more challenging than this one. Think lots of 1/16 measurements and tons of tiny triangles ;o) I loved making it - although I'm really glad I'm only making one. I don't have that much patience.
My first two blocks together:

It looks great Jess! Love your fabrics!
It looks fabulous. I have to admit, I have not had the patience/ desire/ something to tackle that block!
Great piecing Jess, and the fabric is amazing!Quite the challenging BOM too!
These are looking gorgeous. And the heavy cross is a work of art in itself. You're using the loveliest fabrics :)
blimey, that's incredible!
Wow, this is a stunning block Jess!
It looks great but what a lot of pieces! Di x
You are a far braver woman than I! Looks fab though :o)
Such a beautiful block - amazing work!
I'm almost finished with that block and I can tell you that yours is going to look a lot better than mine. I think about making this one my practice block and doing it over and hoping that it will look better. But thinking that way just wears me out. I don't know if I have another one of these blocks in me. LOL. Your block looks great!
Beautiful blocks! I may have to join in with this BOM if I can ever get caught up.
These are amazing and beautiful!
Impressive! And i was wondering why there are so many marks on the rulers. 1/16, who knew?
